What is the personalized pattern read?

The personalized pattern read is the centerpiece Pro feature. It is what makes Spilled feel like a wise friend instead of just a tracking app.

How it works: when a pattern fires on one of your connections (like high cancellation rate or hot and cold cycles), Pro users can tap the flag to open a Get the Read screen. The app sends a summary of your recent entries to a third-party language service. The service writes a personalized paragraph or two about what this pattern means in your specific situation.

What the read does:

• References your actual entries, not generic dating advice
• Names the pattern in plain language
• Explains how the math behind the flag matches what you have been logging
• Ends with a reflection or question, not a directive

What the read does not do:

• Diagnose him (no labels like narcissist, avoidant, manipulator)
• Tell you what to do
• Predict the future
• Replace a real conversation with a friend or therapist

The voice is intentional. Warm, plainspoken, honest. It validates what you are feeling while staying grounded in your data. The goal is to make you feel less alone and more clear, not to tell you what to think.

The read is regenerated whenever your entries change significantly. The cached version stays the same as long as the underlying data does.
