How to log entries

Tap the plus button on a connection's screen to add a new entry. Type whatever happened in your own words.

You do not need to write paragraphs. Short and specific is best.

Good examples:

  • "He cancelled our date 30 minutes before."
  • "He surprised me with flowers."
  • "He left me on read for two days then sent a meme."
  • "Talked for three hours, felt close."
  • "He mentioned his ex twice."

While you type, Spilled reads what you wrote and assigns tags. Tags include things like broken promise, effort, ghosted, quality time, mixed signals. The tags appear as you type. You can tap them to confirm or correct.

How often should you log? Whenever something stands out. Some weeks you might log five times. Some weeks none. Your score appears from your first entry, and the more you log, the more accurate the patterns become. Pattern flags need three or more entries before they start firing.
